The Old Course Hotel has long been a landmark of luxury in St Andrews, a place where the rich history of golf blends seamlessly with refined hospitality. As part of its latest expansion, the hotel unveiled the West Deck—a sophisticated new spot perfect for al fresco dining and sunset drinks. For this prestigious project, Coco Wolf was appointed to bring the outdoor spaces of the West Deck to life with bespoke luxury furniture. We collaborated closely with the OCCA Procurement team to ensure that each piece resonated with the aesthetic and functional needs of the space. Our aim? To complement the serene elegance of St Andrews and create an outdoor setting that embodies sophistication, comfort, and longevity.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Scottish coastline, the West Deck needed to balance elegance with durability, and our pieces were crafted with just that in mind. The Azur curved sofas, draped in soft neutral fabrics and accentuated with calming blues, cradle guests in comfort as they take in views of the legendary eighteenth tee. Tamarindo barstools and armchairs, finished in a subtle Alpine wood tone, bring an understated sophistication to the bar area, inviting guests to linger a little longer with a cocktail in hand.
Swivel drums and round dining tables allow the space to adapt effortlessly for intimate gatherings or celebratory dinners, while poseur tables create perfect spots for spontaneous conversations. As dusk falls, the outdoor lights’ warm glow dances off our furniture’s sleek lines, turning the deck into a magical haven. With cosy blankets at the ready and covered pods providing shelter, the West Deck becomes a place where people can gather, laugh, and unwind, no matter what the Scottish weather has in store. It’s more than a space—an experience waiting to unfold.
